Product Introduction:

GS (Glutamine synthetase) is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of glutamate and ammonia into glutamine in the liver. It is expressed in many human cells, such as hepatocytes, astrocytes, osteocytes, adipocytes, and sperm. GS is involved not only in the recycling of neurotransmitters but also in maintaining cellular homeostasis, helping to maintain amino acid/energy balance, cellular redox reactions, and more. It is used in combination with Glypican-3 for the diagnosis of hepatocellular adenoma and hepatocellular carcinoma.
