Product Introduction:

GCDFP15 is a monomeric protein with a molecular weight of 15kD, found in apical secretory epithelium, lacrimal sac, cerumen, and Moll's glands, as well as in the serous cells of most submandibular glands, trachea, bronchi, sublingual glands, and minor salivary glands. It is a very useful marker for breast cancer, with about 50-60% of primary breast cancers showing positive expression. When used in combination with CK7 and CK20, it can help distinguish primary breast Paget's disease (GCDFP-15+) from secondary breast Paget's disease (GCDFP-15-). GCDFP15 and prostate-specific antigen are both expressed in androgen receptor-positive breast tumors. GCDFP15+ is also found in some sweat gland carcinomas, salivary gland carcinomas, and very rarely in lung cancer, gastric cancer, and prostate cancer.
