Product Introduction:

PLAP (Placental alkaline phosphatase) is a marker for germ cell tumors, present in placental tissue, and expressed in ovarian germ cell tumors, testicular and extragonadal germ cell tumors, including seminoma, gonadoblastoma, and choriocarcinoma. It often shows low intensity and focal expression in embryonal carcinoma and yolk sac tumor; it is not expressed in spermatocytic seminoma and immature teratoma. It is mainly used as an auxiliary diagnostic marker for placental trophoblastic tumors, ovarian germ cell tumors, testicular and extragonadal germ cell tumors.
